Sam Stephens Fann Sam Fann age
85, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 19, 2011
at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, FL following a lengthy
illness. The Ft. Myers, FL native moved to Live Oak, FL in 1951 from
Quitman, GA. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during WWII. He
graduated from FSU with a degree in accounting and worked for Alltel Phone
Company as an accounting manager for many years. Sam was a life member of
the Live Oak Lions Club and member of the First Baptist Church of Live Oak.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Fann, Live Oak, FL; one son, Stephen
Fann, Tallahassee, FL; one daughter, Margaret (Chris) Pieser, Ocoee, FL;
one brother, James Fann, Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Eloise Womble, Titus, AL
and Norma Brown, Jacksons Gap, AL; five grandchildren and three great
grandchildren. |
