Dean Duchak, a baseball honoree MIDLAND PARK - Dean Peter Duchak, a member of the Midland Park High School Athletic Hall of Fame, died Wednesday in Middlebury, Conn., where he lived. He was 39. An honors graduate of Midland Park High School and member of the National Honor Society, he was a All-Suburban baseball player and received a baseball scholarship to Florida State University. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was employed by the Watertown (Conn.) Board of Education and was active in youth athletic activities.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah; two sons, Donovan and Aaron, both at home;
his parents, Peter and Mary of the borough, and two brothers, James of
Wakefield, Mass., and Douglas of Allendale. |
