Obituary for Mario F. DeLiberty Published in The Daily Times on January 23, 2013 Mario F. DeLiberty, age 68, of Delaware County, PA and Brigantine, NJ, passed away on January 16, 2013 with his daughter and son-in-law by his side. Mario was a 1962 graduate of Monsignor Bonner and a very proud member of the 1961 All-City Championship Football Team. He attended Florida State University on a full football scholarship and graduated in 1966 with a degree in business. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1967 to 1971. He was the owner of Westgate Pub in Havertown from 1983 to 2004. Mario loved animals, football, helping others, spending time with his friends, and living at the beach. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He was predeceased by his parents, Mario and Sarah (nee Ciampoli) DeLiberty and his brother, Peter. Survivors: Loving father of daughter Sara; son-in-law Herb Staquet; 3 sons, Mario, David and Gabriel; one grandson; sister-in-law Stephanie DeLiberty; best friend, Tony Gero. Also survived by several nieces and nephews; many friends. |
