Safety from Miami...three-year letterman...special teams player extraordinaire...very hard worker...earned a scholarship his last year on the team...blocked two punts and a field goal in the first four games of 1984, all leading to touchdowns, which made opponents take notice of his abilities...he started getting double-teamed which led to other teammates getting into the blocking act...for the year, blocked four punts and one field goal and returned three blocked punts for touchdowns including two against Arizona State...also scored a touchdown off a blocked punt in the Citrus Bowl against Georgia to tie the score 17-17.
