Obituary for Herbert Delano Knight Hathcox

from Dec. 7 to Dec. 8, 2018 Herbert Delano Knight Hathcox, age 85 of
Fanning Springs, FL passed away in Gainesville, FL on Wednesday December 5,
2018. Herb was born in Jonesville, FL on December 13, 1933 to Fate and
Maggie Knight.
He received his Masters Degree from Florida State
University and taught in the grade schools in Panama City, FL for 40 years
until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, watching sports, and playing
music with his band. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Community
Church where he taught Sunday School classes and played the keyboard.
Mr. Hathcox is survived by his wife, Marilyn Hathcox; daughter Sherry
Hutchinson; grandson Matthew Perkey; son Steven Wright; grandson Joshua
Wright; daughter Jennifer Hathcox; and son Greg Hathcox. He also leaves his
best friends Ron and Judy Boyd.
