U.S.A.F. Lt. Col. Retired Christopher P. Dixon, Jr., 43, of O'Fallon, died Friday, September 9, 1988, at United States Air Force Medical Center, Scott Air Force Base.

He was a retired pilot for the United States Air Force.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Mina Lee, nee Creech, Dixon.

Surviving are his wife, Brooke, nee Campbell, Dixon, whom he married on July 23, 1966, in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; a son, Michael Dixon; a daughter, Marissa Dixon, both of O'Fallon; father, Christopher P. Dixon of Roswell, N.M.; three brothers, Ronald L. Dixon of Hickory, N.C., Jeffery A. Dixon of Bothell, Wash., Jerome A. Dixon of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Mrs. Clifford (Carol Ann) Schroeder of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.
