| End and half-back from Pensacola...a four-year letterman and two-year starter...played both ways; a fine pass receiver who can run with the ball after he gets it and one of the squad's surest tacklers on defense...also ran back punts and kickoffs...led the 1951 sqaud with 17 pass receptions and four touchdowns and the 1952 team with 24 catches for 290 yards...had six career interceptions...earned 1st Team Little All-American from the Williamson Middle Group and AP Little All-American Honorable Mention in 1951 and AP Little All-American honors in 1952. |
