| Kicker from Daytona Beach via Poland...after earning 1st team freshman All-American honors from The Sporting news in 1997, he was recognized as the best kicker in the country in 98 and 99...earned 1st team All-American honors from all organizations, NCAA Consensus All-American and the Lou Groza Award, awarded to the nation's best kicker, as a sophomore and junior...his kick offs typically went several yards past the goal line and were not returned...made over 76% of his field goals all three years including 84% as a junior...made four field goals over 50 yards during his career...was one of the few kickers/punters selected in the first round of the NFL draft...just completed his 11th year with the Oakland Raiders. |
