ACC CHAMPIONSHIP, 4th place
04/14/1996, April 12-14, 1996, Greensboro, NC

Only four ACC schools have women's golf teams, but according to Coach Debbie Dillman, "That's like saying there's only four teams in the Final Four. Everyone is good." The other three conference teams, Duke, North Carolina, and Wake Forest all entered this year's tournament ranked in the country's top ten. The Lady Seminoles were outmatched this year finishing in fourth place. Mabel Pascual del Pobil started off the tournament in last place individually, but shot a one-over par 73 in the third round to jump into 14th place, the highest finish for FSU. Her finish marked the seventh tournament this season she led the team.
