Rin F. Grossman died Sunday, October 1, 1995, at Bloomington Hospital.

A resident of the city, he was 67.

Mr. Grossman was born October 22, 1927, in Huntington to Urban and Lona Spath Grossman.

He was married to Patricia Cromer. She survives.

Mr. Grossman was a United States Navy veteran of World War II.

He was graduated from Indiana University, where he played football, in 1950.

Mr. Grossman also played football for Florida State University.

He was a longtime local builder and was affiliated with the Golf Car Corporation for 15 years.

He was a past president of the Bloomington PTA and a member of Beta Theta Phi fraternity.

Other survivors include four daughters, Cindy Witmer of Fort Wayne, Stephanie Lee of Tallahassee, Florida, Jennifer True of Nova, Wisconsin, and Dana Cromer of Bloomington; two sons, Christian Grossman of Cincinnati and David Grossman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two sisters, Ruby Grossman of Fort Wayne and Mary Smith of Muncie; three granddaughters, a grandson, and a great-grandson.
