John Marshall Hedrick Obituary. Published by the Tampa Bay Times on Apr 12, 2015, page B9. John Marshall Hedrick, 83, of St. Petersburg passed
away April 6, 2015. John was born Nov. 9, 1931 in Joleton, TN and moved to
St. Petersburg when he was 12. He graduated from St. Petersburg High, Class
of 1950. He served three years in the Coast Guard, worked three years for
the St. Petersburg Recreation Dept., and worked 31 years for Prudential
Insurance Company. John coached the Redskins in the Junior Football League,
was assistant coach for Lakewood High's football team and served as
President of the Athletic Boosters. He was a member of Life Underwriters
Association and Lakewood Country Club. John enjoyed boating, fishing, golf
and diving for lobster in the Keys. He was captain of several pool teams
and won the St. Petersburg Championship Tournament several years. He is
survived by Ann, his loving wife of 62 years; daughter, Connie Aldrich;
son, Dr. Randy (Linda) Hedrick; three granddaughters, Jennifer Hedrick,
Shelby (Don, Sr.) Luchsinger, and Gina Hedrick; one great-grandson, D.J.
Luchsinger, Jr.; brother, Warren Hedrick and an additional family member,
Larry Levinson. |
