BAINBRIDGE, Ga. - Thomas H. Wester, 53, of Bainbridge, died Monday at his home after an apparent heart attack.

He was a native of Blountstown and had lived in Bainbridge for 40 years, where he was owner and operator of Wester's Service Station and Tire Center. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Orion Lodge No. 8 F & AM. He served with the Air Force in the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanine Brooks Wester of Bainbridge; two daughters, Wanda Fessenden of Alpharetta, Ga., and Sharon Shelton of Valdosta; two sons, Thomas H. "Buddy" Wester of Tallahassee, and Charles Lee "Chuck" Wester of Bainbridge; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Wester of Leesville, La.; a sister, Betty Self of Leesville; and a brother, Bennie Lee Wester of Jacksonville.
