president and general manager for Postal Colony, Clermont. Born in
Groveland, he was a lifetime area resident. He was a former deacon for the
First Baptist Church of Groveland. He was a member of the Southern Baptist
Association, the Florida Citrus Commission, and the Clermont Kiwanis Club.
He was a former chairman for the International Marketing Citrus Commission.
He was an Army veteran. Survivors: wife, Rebecca Barwick; daughters, Denise
McClean, Jacksonville, Sandra Thomas, Groveland, Debra Kipps, Viennam Va,;
brother, Leon Barwick, Clearwater; sisters, Ruth Smith, Margaret Moulton,
both of Groveland; five grandsons; three great-granddaughters. |
