Steve O'Neal Holton Obituary. Posted by Burns Funeral Homes, Perry, Fla. Steve O. Holton, Sr., age 78, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2011, at Doctors Memorial Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Taylor County, Florida, and the son of the late Ashley, and Edna Hendry Holton. Mr. Holton was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He graduated from TCHS in 1952, and is in the Bulldog Hall of Fame. He was a Blue Chipper in football, lettered in baseball and basketball. Mr. Holton was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army. He was a longtime businessman here locally, he also was the founder of Camp Misery Hunting Club, a longtime member of the Elks Lodge, a longtime Seminole Booster, where he played football for FSU, he was also a lifetime member of the Perry VFW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, FSU sports, loved the Taylor County Bulldogs and helped organize the Veterans Park and Press box at the Stadium. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Holton, and a sister, Dorothy Jean Couey. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mae
