Kenneth Wayne Helms Obituary. Posted McAlpin Funeral Home, Sneads, Fla. Kenneth Wayne Helms, 81, of Chattahoochee, Florida, passed
peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. He
was a member of First Baptist Church of Chattahoochee, FL and loved to sing
in the choir. He graduated from Chattahoochee High school in 1956. In 1961
he graduated from Florida State University then went on to earn his
master's degree from Troy State University in 1973. Wayne was a retired
Warden from the Florida Department of Corrections. He had many great
accomplishments in his life and loved his family very deeply. He was an
avid Florida State Seminole fan and enjoyed spending time with his family
going to the games with them. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 56
years, Linda Helms; one daughter, Stacey Infinger and husband Robert of
Grayton Beach, FL, one son, Derek Helms and wife Jenene of Tallahassee, FL;
three grandchildren, Chelsea Infinger, Eva Helms, and Isis Helms. He was
preceded in death by his parents Grady Bascom Helms and Cummie Rodgers
Helms along with five siblings. |
