Terrence Bernard Griggley Obituary. Published by the Tampa Bay Times on Jun 20, 2000, page 92. Terrence B. Griggley, 35, of Clearwater, died
Saturday (June 17, 2000) as a result of an automobile accident in
Clearwater. He came here in 1967 from his native Donalsonville, Ga., and
graduated in 1984 from Clearwater High School. He worked as a recreation
leader for the Clearwater Parks and Recreation Department. In 1994, he was
inducted into the Clearwater High School Basketball Hall of Fame, and he
was also a football star. He played basketball for St. Petersburg Junior
College, and football for Florida State University, Tallahassee, and
McNeese State University, New Orleans. Survivors include a son, Terrence B.
Jr., Clearwater; his mother, Cynthia Griggley-Keckley, Clearwater; his
father and stepmother, Napolean and Rise Crispen, Donalsonville; three
brothers, Derrick Griggley, Lakeland, and Joel and Elwyn Crispen, both of
Donalsonville; a sister, Effie Backy, Donalsonville; and his maternal
grandmother, Mary A. Griggley. |
