Bruce Franklin Harrison Obituary. Bruce Harrison, 71, of Fort Pierce, FL, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. Raised in Florida, Bruce graduated from Vero Beach High School before pursuing higher education at Florida State University and Louisiana State University. His career was marked by dedication and service, including time with the Shreveport Steamers, the Shreveport Police Department, and the Florida State Attorney's Office. Bruce was a man of faith who worshipped at St. Helen Catholic Church and St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Fort Pierce. He found joy in fishing, duck hunting, attending FSU football games, and most importantly, spending time with his beloved family. Known as a kind and gentle giant, Bruce had a selfless nature that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife Betsy; his children
Rebecca Harrison and Ben Harrison; his grandchildren Blaze Harrison, Tanner
Vercellotti, Payton Harrison, Liam Harrison, and Lilah Harrison; his
siblings Roger Harrison, Kathy McCurdy, and Earline Beasock. He was
predeceased by his parents Addie and James Harrison; his grandson Logan
Harrison; and his sister Gayle Parrish. |
