Robert Virgil Jarratt, Jr., 78, of Pensacola, died Thursday April 7, 2005.

Robert was born in Blytheville, Arkansas and has been a lifelong re3sident of Pensacola.

He was a graduate of Pensacola High School and Florida State University. Bob served in the U.S. Army, worked for Chemstrand and finally retired from the Naval Air Station Rework Facility.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Shirley Bryan Jarratt.

Mr. Jarratt is survived by his son, Russell Bryan Jarratt (Jimmie) of Pace; his daughter Rebecca Jarratt Maloy (Bill) of Pensacola; granddaughters Jessica Faye Jarratt and Justine Nicole Jarratt, both of Pace and Allyson Karie Stalnaker of Pensacola; a grandson, Aden Van Mixson of Pace; and a sister, Betty Jarratt Atwood of Pensacola.
