C.W. Browning Obituary Published in the Tallahassee Democrat on Apr 10, 1999, page 23. C.W. "Buddy" Browning, 70, of Havana died Firday. A native of Fort Pierce, he had lived in Havana since 1941. He was a lifetime member and past exalted ruler of the Tallahassee Elks Lodge, and a member of the Tallahassee Civitan Club and Phi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He was a member of Wildwood Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder. He
is survived by his wife of 46 years, Helen A. Browning of Havana; two sons,
Stuart Walker Browning of Kodiak, Alaska, and Guy Ricou Browning of
Tallahassee; a daughter, Elizabeth Browning Gorton of Havana; a brother,
Ricou R. Browning of Davie; and four grandchildren. |
