Gerald O. Fix, 46, of Bloomington, Calif., formerly of Binghamton, passed away May 2, 1989 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Janie; two daughters, Annette and Catherine, all of Bloomington; his mother, Beatrice Fix, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Patricia Fix, Binghamton, NY; a graqndson, Jarod; a niece, Nicole; aunts, uncles and several cousins. He is predeceased by his father, Osmar Fix. He was a member of the Los Angeles Co. Sheriff's Dept. for 17 1/2 years currently holding the rank of Sergeant and a past member of the Vestal Police Department.
