I know this is the correct person because his wedding announcement said he was a swimmer at FSU.

Donald Dean Montgomery, Sr., age 48, of Long Beach, died Friday, May 24, 1991 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.

The son of Howard Montgomery and Ruth Hearon Montgomery, he was born in Aberdeen and had resided in Long Beach for nine years. He was an employee of Watkins Olds-Cadillac and was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Brand Montgomery of Long Beach; one daughter, Mrs. March Martin of Long Beach; one son, Dean Montgomery of Long Beach; his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Montgomery who have just moved back to Houston from Forrest; one sister, Mrs. Bonna Armstrong of Houston and one brother, Frank Montgomery of Highlands, North Carolina.
