Ned A. Cooper, 72, of Pensacola died Sunday, Sept. 1, 1996, at his residence.

Mr. Cooper was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and moved to the Pensacola area in 1958 from Decatur, Ala. He retired from Devoe & Reynolds Corp. after 30 years of service and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Scenic Hills Country Club and the F.S.U. Alumni Association.

Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Cooper.

Survivors include his son, Thomas R. Cooper of Pensacola; two daughters, Sandy A. Cooper of Pensacola and Connie Cooper Whidby of Gulf Breeze; and three grandchildren.
