Charles Hugh Hayes Jr Obituary.

Aug 11, 2000, page 32. C. Hugh Hayes Jr., 61, a longtime resident of
Naples, Fla., died August 9, 2000 in Boca Raton, Fla. following a brief
illness.
The son of Charles Hugh Hayes and Louise Yerxa Hayes, he was
born in Clearwater, Fla. on January 2, 1939. Following his graduation from
Clearwater High School in 1956, he attended Florida State University where
in 1960 he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.
He subsequently settled in Tampa as vice president of Business Operations
for Hugh Hayes, Inc. In 1970 he moved to Naples, Fla., where he developed
Bonita Springs Farms, Inc.
An avid golfer, he was a member of the Palma
Ceia Golf and Country Club in Tampa for over 25 years, the Imperial Golf
Club in Naples, Fla. and the Pelican Marsh Country Club also in Naples,
Fla. Other organizations in which he held memberships include Sigma Nu
Fraternity at Florida State University, Merry Makers Club in Tampa and
Saint Andrews Episcopal Church in Tampa.
He is survived by two
daughters, Ashley Hayes of Atlanta, Ga. and Brooke Rathmanner of Boca
Raton, Fla.; a son-in-law, John Rathmanner of Boca Raton, Fla.; a grandson,
Jake Rathmanner of Boca Raton, Fla.; and a brother, J. Michael Hayes of
Tampa, Fla.
